2010 Free Agent Signing Tracker:

Wed, 09/15/2010 - 2:06pm
The 2010 free agent market has been robust so far.  No signs of a down economy.  In fact, the NBA announced that the salary cap will be at $58.044 million for the 2010-11 season an increase from the $57.70 million for the 2009-10 season.  This is great news for NBA teams who had been led to believe in an NBA memo of a possibility of a decrease in salary cap space for the 2010-11 season.  The luxury tax has been set at $70.307 million.  Any team who exceeds that amount must pay a dollar for dollar penalty tax.  Below are the reported agreements. No official signings can be made until July 8th.  We will be updating as news of signings filter in.
