Bogans about to finish what he started

Keith Bogans is poised to start all 82 games for the first time in his eight-year career.

That may surprise some, but it wouldn't surprise respected coaches Doc Rivers, Gregg Popovich, Stan Van Gundy or Tom Thibodeau. All have played Bogans extensively for playoff teams, although this would represent his first time starting all season. He played in all 82 games one other time for a Van Gundy-coached Orlando team in 2007-08.

"It's a big accomplishment," Bogans said. "People didn't expect me to start. To be where we are, it speaks for itself.

"When I first got to Orlando my rookie year, Doc Rivers told me in order to make the team I had to guard Tracy McGrady. I went to Tracy and I told him, 'You might not like me. But I'm going to make this team.' I learned you have to play defense and accept roles."
