Brooks' progress slow
Thu, 12/16/2010 - 9:00am
Rockets guard Aaron Brooks traveled with the team for the first time since he sprained his left ankle on Nov. 6. He did not have a timetable for when he could play and said he was disappointed to feel as sore as he did after his first practice with the team on Monday.
"It was OK, just OK," Brooks said. "I don't know what I expected. I didn't expect to be pain-free. It was a first practice. They said it went OK. I just don't feel like myself. I think that's what gets me. "
The Rockets don't practice until Saturday, and with the early start on Sunday, will have only a brief walk-through. The next full practice is scheduled for after the three-game road trip next week.
