CDR says he will be moving on

Chris Douglas-Roberts did not play in the Bucks' season finale on Wednesday night.

Nothing new there.

The 24-year-old shooting guard has been riding the bench for a long time. He did not play due to coach's decision in 13 of the Bucks' final 16 games. He has played a total of 24 minutes since March 15.

"I don't think I'll be here next year," Douglas-Roberts said. "It's a lot of circumstances here. But there's a difference between this team and Jersey because I don't have any hard feelings here.

"I don't have any problems here. I got along with everybody. But sometimes things just don't work out, and that's how it is in the NBA."

Douglas-Roberts, acquired from New Jersey for a second-round pick last summer, is at the end of his rookie contract and the Bucks have to make a qualifying offer if they want to retain his services.

"It's just finding the right fit, getting somewhere comfortable where the coach and organization is confident in you," Douglas-Roberts said. "This is the end of my third year. I have a great agent in Leon (Rose) and we'll figure this out."

Douglas-Roberts shot 42.9% from the field and 83.1% from the free throw line.

"Guys came back from injury who they were invested in," Douglas-Roberts said. "They have history with coach, and they have money invested in them.

"A lot of guys don't say it, but when you're making what I'm making compared to other guys, it's definitely a factor. And earlier in the year we had to get guys going, and I understand that, too.

"Unfortunately, I was just the odd man out. And to top that off, when you're in this position, you can't have bad games, that many. It can definitely affect your future.

"Teams are definitely interested so we're just going to sit back and see how it goes, and go from there."
