Golden State Warriors' David Lee to have surgery; could miss two weeks

Warriors power forward David Lee has returned to the Bay Area, where he will have surgery to clean out an infection in his left elbow. The team has not officially announced a timetable for his return, but according to multiple team sources, he is projected to miss two weeks.

Lee was flying back to the Bay Area Friday, where the surgery to clean out the laceration in his left elbow will be peerformed by Dr. Frank Chen.

If Lee is out two weeks, he will miss a total of eight games, with his projected return Nov. 27 at Minnesota.
