If Collison sits, he'd be 'shocked'

Darren Collison won't know until today whether his left ankle will be able to hold up to game-like conditions.

The Indiana Pacers point guard got treatment on his ankle Wednesday -- staying away from any on-court work -- and said after practice he will wait until this morning to test it. Until then, Collison said he's doing whatever trainer Josh Corbeil suggests.

"I have faith in Josh that he's going to get me back on the court by (tonight)," Collison said.

The second-year point guard injured the ankle in the first half of Monday's Game 2 when he stepped on a cameraman after hitting a layup.

Collison said he plans to play in tonight's Game 3 against the Bulls, who lead the best-of-seven series 2-0, even if he's not 100 percent.

"This is the playoffs. I'm going to do whatever it takes to be out there. If I don't play, I'll be shocked," said Collison, who leads the Pacers in assists (5.5) and is their third-leading scorer (12.5) this season.
