Jeremy Lin to be sent to Reno of NBA Development League
Tue, 12/28/2010 - 3:19am
The Warriors are expected to announce today that rookie guard Jeremy Lin is being sent to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League.
Lin, a rookie from Palo Alto who played at Harvard, had played in 17 of the team's first 29 games, averaging 1.9 points.
"I'm just going to get some playing time, some experience and continue to develop," Lin said. "There is no substitute for playing in actual games. Obviously, I'd love to stay with the team, but I'm going to be able to get a lot of playing time. It's not the end of the world, and I can learn and grow a lot as a player."
