Lester Hudson returns, replaces Alonzo Gee

The Wizards have brought back Lester Hudson to help fill the backup point guard void that the team now faces after it dealt Gilbert Arenas to Orlando and with John Wall out indefinitely with a bone bruise under his right knee cap. Hudson confirmed by telephone that he was coming back and will be in uniform when the Wizards host the Charlotte Bobcats.

Hudson was released in favor of Alonzo Gee in late November because the team felt it had enough depth in the backcourt, but now -- after acquiring Rashard Lewis in exchange for Arenas and Josh Howard returning from a left knee injury -- the team is overloaded at the forward position. And, in a startling twist, Hudson is being brought back to replace Gee.
