Maggette, Salmons update
Bucks coach Scott Skiles reported good news regarding injured players Corey Maggette and John Salmons, although neither is ready to step into the lineup yet.
"Corey is getting closer and closer," Skiles said after practice Thursday, " but not ready yet. He's a guy I'd probably think next week will get some minutes."
Maggette is recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle and has been able to participate in portions of practice since late last week.
The Bucks play their second pre-season game on Friday night at Detroit, following their 92-83 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday at the Bradley Center.
"We'll probably play the guys the same amount of minutes and see how it goes," said Skiles, who used a starting lineup of Jon Brockman, Carlos Delfino, Drew Gooden, Brandon Jennings and Chris Douglas-Roberts in the exhibition opener.
