Memphis Grizzlies interested in McCants? ...Not

Free-agent guard Rashad McCants' agent says the Grizzlies, Raptors, Celtics and Clippers interested in his client, according to a tweet from A. Sherrod Blakely of Comcast New England.

However, a marriage with the Griz is highly unlikely after conversations with team insiders. Griz coach Lionel Hollins already is trying to figure out how to divide guard minutes between O.J. Mayo, Xavier Henry, Tony Allen and Sam Young.

Plus, the Grizzlies also have guards Damien Wilkins and Luke Jackson signed to their training camp roster.

The only possible addition that makes sense is veteran power forward Kenny Thomas, who is in good shape and performed well for the Griz in a workout Wednesday morning.
