Mike Miller might make Miami Heat debut Monday night
Mon, 12/20/2010 - 5:27pm
Forward Mike Miller could be making his debut with the Heat on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks.
``I wouldn't rule out 100 percent that he wouldn't be available tonight,'' Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday after the Heat's morning shootaround. The Heat (21-8) plays the Mavericks (21-5) at 7:30 p.m. at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miller tore a ligament in his right thumb during the preseason and had surgery. Originally, he hoped to return to action in time for the Heat's game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day but recovered faster than expected.
Asked on Monday if he would rather make his debut with the Heat at home or on the road, Miller said, ``At home because that's the next game.''
