More D-League time likely for Dominique Jones

The Dallas Mavericks sent first-round draft pick Dominique Jones to their D-League affiliate in Frisco last week to give him some playing time and add some punch to the Texas Legends' home opener.

After three games with the Legends, it appears the 6-5 shooting guard might be staying with coach Nancy Lieberman a little longer. The Mavs begin a season-long, six -game homestand Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, but Jones remains with the Legends.

The Legends (5-1) next play Saturday and Sunday at Fort Wayne.
