NBA Draft 09' Predictions

A little too early to determine whether Blake will go to the NBA Draft or not, but which team do you think would get the best chance of selecting him at #1? Thunder? Clippers? Washington? Kings? Or any of the teams that are below the .500 win percentile? Other than Griffin, how about other prospects? Thabeet, DeJuan Blair, Hansborough, James Harden and etc.?

Anybody?

Does anybody know if Ricky Rubio will be entering the NBA Draft as well?

NBA Prospects

Suton seems to be a solid player who can stretch the defense with his ability to shoot from outside. Blair might be a undersized player at the PF position, I don't know whether he will be NBA ready to play with the pros. DeJuan Blair somewhat reminds me of Paul Millsap who is an undersized PF but could get alot of boards and also get some points. Thabeet, I agree that he might be a little lacking on moving around quick enough. Don't get me wrong, he has that blocking prowess and he is a good offensive player than some bigs. Harden should be a good one. Hansboruogh might drop a bit in the draft I think. He is a good player, only there are some cons about his game. Whether he can guard most players at the 4. Blake Griffin is possibly going to be taken at the 1st pick. Henderson, a versatile player. I think he might be taken from around 12-20 in the draft. The Arizona Duo (Hill & Budinger) are good prospects as well. Hill might end up being a potential double-double machine. Budinger is an interesting prospect who can light it up. Well, not sure where they might end up going to. Teague, Lawson are also good ones too. Curry (Not sure about this one), is a offensive kind of player, I think he can light it up but remember that this is the NBA. Not sure if he could put up the numbers in the NBA that he did in the NCAA. I support the guy but I'm kinda waiting to see how he fares in the NBA Summer League, Pre-season and the regular season.

Whers the love for Suton???

Goron Suton beat Louisville by himself in the first half of their matchup. That was against Earl Clark. And that was after he competed hard with Cole Aldrich and beat the Jayhawks!

Suton to the Warriors!!!!

all i know

is if the thunder get blake griffin they will make the playoffs next year. They will also have the youngest most exciting team in the league. I get dizzy just thinking about it.

In other news- Hasheem "No Feet" Thabeet will be a bust. He'll come in and block shots and then get into foul trouble after tripping over himself and falling into opposing centers knees. He's a tool. Roy Hibbert is going to eat him alive next season.

Below is what nbadraft.net has to say about the 2009 draft... what a bunch of clowns.

Jennings #5? Really? I think Demar DeRozan is going to be DIRTY. I'd pick him #2 overall if I could. Harden will also be nasty.

Henderson #8?! I'm laughing out loud. Selecting a Duke player that early is like volunteering to be cursed by a witch doctor. He's got BUSTER written all over him. I'd take Tyreke Evans or Jeff Teague over him.

Other BUSTERs to watch out for: Brackins, Mullens, Curry (yeah I said it)

Other DIRTY players to watch out for: Al-Farouq Aminu, Maynor, Teague, Blair, Evans

I agree except

NO WAY is Dejaun blair a player to watch out for. He is a 6'6'' PF who will get destroyed against the athletic PF's in the NBA. He too fat/not athletic enough to match up with sg/sf at the next level, obviously. At best he can come off the bench and be a contributor. This is going to be one of the worst draft classes in history
