No place like home for Ilyasova and Delfino

Ilyasova is playing professionally in Turkey while Delfino is weighing his options and spending some time in his home country of Argentina.

Ilyasova is playing for Anadolu Efes in Istanbul and has expressed a desire to stay there for the entire season, although he has an NBA out in his Turkish contract that would require him to return to the Bucks if the lockout ends.

Delfino has not yet signed with a pro team in Europe or elsewhere. The Argentine played for his country in the FIBA Americas tournament it hosted in September and helped it gain a 2012 Olympic berth.

Both players have one year remaining on their contracts with the Bucks.

Agent Andy Miller represents both players and offered an update on them Friday.

On Ilyasova: "I will say we're riding along the course we've set," Miller said. "Right now it's status quo. It's home (in Turkey). He's enjoying it and his wife and kids are over there."

On Delfino: "He's had a number of offers," Miller said. "His family is in Argentina and he's rarely had an opportunity to be at home this time of year. He has an Italian passport. But we want to make sure it is the right set of circumstances (to sign with a European team). His season lasted longer than most; his ended in September. So he's not in as much of a rush. He had a pretty competitive summer.

"He's a very active person and charitable person in the Argentine community. So he's got other things going on."
