Wed, 04/13/2011 - 3:45pm
Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva has received a five-game suspension without pay from the NBA for his actions Monday in a loss against Cleveland at The Palace.
Villaneuva got into a physical altercation with Cavaliers forward Ryan Hollins late in the game. After the two were separated, Villaneuva had to be restrained after he changed across the court to get at Hollins. He then twice tried to enter the Cavaliers' locker room.
Villaneuva missed Wednesday night's season-ending game against Philadelphia and will be suspended for the first four games next season.
