Steve Nash’s Lu You commercial makes its debut in China

Midway through Game 2 of the NBA Finals, however, Chinese fans finally got their first glimpse of a Lu You-fitted Steve Nash in a fifteen second advertising spot on China’s national sports channel, CCTV-5.

Interestingly enough, at least to us, Nash was in Miami to watch Game 2 live and was shown on camera at the end of the third quarter, which of course begs the question: Was Nash’s appearance on live Chinese television on the same day his new commercial made its debut to tens of millions of potential Chinese customers a planned appearance or a mere coincidence?
