Top team in the league next year?

I was just wondering if anyone has any idea who the top teams in the East and West will be next year. The Lakers would be an obvious choice in the West, but with Garnett healthy, and the Magic looking good, the Cavs will have trouble being on top again.

I think the Lakers will do

I think the Lakers will do it again in the West, with Portland as my team with the second best chance to be the number 1 (even more so if they sign Turkgolu). Then probably Denver 3rd, Carmelo and JR would have the have monster years for them to improve.

In the east it's obviously a 3 team race, if Cleveland signs Shaq I put them at the top for sure. Boston could be back especially as Rondo looks like arguably the best point in the East, but I think they'll rest the Trio some to make sure they are all healthy for the playoffs, also they are aging. Alot with Orlando depends on if they resign Turk, Courtney Lee should improve and Dwight will likely be even better next year (especially after so many people ragging on his offensive game, he'll add some moves this offseason). But if I had to pick with the current rosters I'll probably still go with Cleveland, they'll likely have the best home record in the league again and I don't think it will take long for their role players to get their confidence going (for the regular season atleast).

As for the NBA I guess I'll go with the Cavs again, West is still tougher and the Lakers might lose Odom or Ariza. I'll admit to not being confident with my picks though, the Cavs disappointed me as a team alot in the playoffs. For being the best defensive team, they couldn't stop penetration for sht. Damn this is a ramble, wish it would separate my paragraphs.
