Turiaf has resolved his insurances issues to play for ASVEL

Ronny Turiaf, the center of the New York Knicks (NBA), has settled his insurance problems but is still awaiting for the  green light from his agent prior to engaging formally with Villeurbanne (ProA), he said Sunday to the French newspaper Le Progres.

"The insurance company has agreed to insure me but my agent (Mark Bartelstein) wants to make sure that all paperwork has been completed," said Turiaf, who has been practicing one on none in France since last week waiting for the insunace issue to be resolved.

Turiaf has an NBA opt out clause in hsi contract with ASVEL should the NBA end its lockout.
