Zydrunas Ilgauskas treated for infection

Miami Heat center Zydrunas Ilgauskas is expected to miss Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs after being released from a Miami hospital Sunday following treatment for a foot infection.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Sunday that Ilgauskas was treated overnight and was scheduled to be released Sunday afternoon. Ilgauskas was treated for the infection after he stepped on a nail in his home on Friday. The veteran reserve center missed Saturday's home victory against the Memphis Grizzlies.

LeBron James, who has been Ilgauskas' teammate since they played together with the Cleveland Cavaliers, said he spoke to Ilgauskas by phone before Sunday's practice. James and Heat guard Dwyane Wade said Ilgauskas was in good spirits and they also joked that the 7-foot-3 Lithuanian shouldn't have tried to do work around the house during the season.
